It works, but when Rini finds herself with her family in Houston, there are some unsavory surprises, including a school full of drone-like children, robotic teachers, a dictator principal, and a city of quavering parents who work for the school principal’s husband’s power company. It seems nothing is solved after all. Now it’s up to Rini to solve the problems in her new life in Houston, as well as the ones in her old life in Bangladesh.
